Job Purpose:
- Responsible for providing high quality enterprise project management services to the Bank ensuring strong relationships between IT, Support & Business stakeholders across the organization, communicate status and set a course for success with senior executives and inspire greatness from the members of project teams.
Responsibilities:
Strategic
- Support the bank towards achieving strategic goals and realize mission statement by implementing and maintaining robust project management discipline
- Facilitate regular status meetings to repost progress to stakeholders and executives
- Identify obstacles, analyze and resolve project related issues providing transparency into resolutions and escalation as appropriate
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in matrixed environment to gather and prioritize requirements, while facilitating project scope and associated timelines
- Deep understanding of Agile Project management methodologies and frameworks
- Leverage a broad range of existing project management tools e.g. JIRA, MS project etc. to track projects and provide timely status updates to sponsors
- Champions strong program governance and execution assurance process
- Support IT, Business and ITSC in managing project schedule, ensuring scope and quality objectives are met by monitoring, using metrics and controls to measure progress, taking preventative and corrective action and escalating issues and risks when necessary.
- Integrate multiple project plans and product roadmaps using project and product management tools to create an integrated program plan with identifiable critical path(s), project dependencies, risks, issues, constraints and major milestones.
- Manages overall program financials and tracks value for effective decision making
Integrates project plans at program level, refines plan and report performance against it.
- Manages program scope using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions
- Defines KPI’s to report on benefit realization for tracking value and performance on business case
Relationships & Communication
- Builds strong relationship with Sponsor and Business/Technology Owners
- Provides superior client experience and strengthens relationship within project team.
- Collaborates with colleagues across the organization to get things done.
- Manages program level communications including status reports to all stakeholders.
- Provides senior management with timely updates on operational program issues.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains strong relationships with business and support functions
- Facilitates the relationships with third party vendors at the program level to support creation of quality deliverables.
- Possesses exceptional organizational change management skills and knowledge of best practices
