Responsibilities:

• Joint Custodian of the Main Cash Vault.

• Handling cash deposits and withdrawals from / To the Central Bank of Oman. 

• Coordinate and coloration with branches for the cash requirements, provide branches with cash requirements either deposits/withdrawals.

• Accountable sorting and accounting all physical cash in Vault adhering with Central Bank Cash Management requirement.

•  Supply local cash and maintain under the agreed SAL and TAT’s.

• Works with Branches to accurately forecast timing and amount of future cash flows.

• Accountable and responsible for cash shortage in vault.

• Responsible for rapping and packing cash in vault as per process.

• Preparing cash vouchers and dual passing for cash order transaction.

• Accountable for daily accounting balance.

• Responsible to timely log cash financial entries in core/CBO system.

• Responsible for archiving daily vouchers.  Responsible to update daily cash monitoring and inform line manager with branches exceeding daily approved cash insurance limit.

• Update cash movement with all cash IN/TO vault during a day. 

• Update Payment order and Demand Draft MIS

• Assist the Line Manger/ unit head of Cash Management Unit to perform any other duties as may be assigned by the manager related or unrelated to the unit.
