• Reviewing files of corporate products transaction e.g. Goods Murabaha, Ijara and Wakala Bill Istithmar.
• Ensuring that transactions are sharia compliant.
• Review CBO/Audit reports related sharia issues and prepare the reply jointly by Sharia audit manager.
• Prepare monthly statistics on executed transactions and audited transactions.
• Review SOPs & PPDs and incorporated sharia control to prevent any non-sharia compliance issues in implementing the deals. and review PDMs
• Coordinate and resolve Sharia observations with relevant department managers.
• Work in hand with IT Department to ensure execution of products avoid any potential Sharia non-compliant sensitivity elements.
• Review banking systems development, and prepare sharia checklist for all product’s system and reporting, MIS requirements.
• Review banking policy and procedures and make sharia audit report to ISR
• Attend SSB and Sharia Ex-com meetings to present sharia audit report.
•  Follow-up on the rectification of previous SSB observations.
• Other tasks requested by sharia audit manager or ISR.

• Essential (E): B.A. in business or Sharia or IT
• Desirable (D):  Masters in Sharia or Islamic Finance or Professional Executive Master in Islamic Finance

Professional Qualification:

• Essential (E): Certified Sharia Advisor & Auditor (CSAA)
• Desirable (D): CIPA , CIB by AAOIFI, CIA

• Strong fundamental on Islamic Jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh) or Islamic transaction / Commercial Law (Fiqh al-Muamaalat)
• Strong knowledge in Islamic Banking Regulatory Framework of CBO, AAOIFI Standards and other relevant regulations and international standards such as IFSB Sharia Governance Guidelines
• Strong technical knowledge in the structuring of Islamic products and services across business segment (Wholesale & Retail Banking).
• Strongly IT knowledge.

• Reporting skills in English and Arabic
• Advance level in English language and Arabic
• Advance level in MS office.
